Lebanon Emergency Appeal

September 23 was the deadliest day in Lebanon since the crisis began nearly a year ago. In just a matter of days, according to the latest reports, over 700 have been killed, 5,000 wounded—including children as families flee in fear of being the next victims.

This latest escalation is likely to force many more families from their homes. Education across southern Lebanon has come to a standstill. More than 116,000 people in Lebanon have already been displaced over the past year and many are now in desperate need of aid. At least 24,000 residential buildings have been badly damaged or completely destroyed.

Hundreds of airstrikes have devastated residential areas, leaving families in terror as they flee the south of the country.

In just three days, scores of bombs have killed over 700 of people in Lebanon, damaging schools, homes, and roads and other infrastructure. Almost half a million families have been forced to flee with little time, they urgently need nourishing food.

As we roll out our hot meal distribution, we’re also preparing to expand our work to provide hygiene kits, bottled water, baby nappies and sleeping kits to help families to cope with the sudden and extreme insecurity. The prices for these are as follows:
