This year, your Qurbani has played a crucial role in uplifting people entrenched in dire poverty, those displaced by war, and those facing the aftermath of overwhelming disasters. With your help, we have supplied much-needed protein to individuals who might not have had this essential nutrient for a long time, making this Eid an unforgettable celebration for them. Your Qurbani has done so much more than provide sustenance – it has cultivated joy, promoted happiness, and fostered hope during this sacred time of year.

The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked, what is Udhiyyah (Qurbani)?’ He replied, ‘It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim (peace be upon him).’ – Qurbani is a highly blessed and virtuous act, with the number of sins forgiven equal to the number of hair on the body of the sacrificed animal, so we thank all donors for entrusting us with your Amanah.

Remember:

“There is no act of man on the day of Nahr (Eid al-Adha) more beloved unto Allah than the sacrifice. And indeed, the sacrificed animal will appear on Qiyamat day with its horns, hooves and skin. And indeed, the blood of the sacrifice is accepted by Allah even before it touches the ground. So perform the sacrifice with a happy heart.”

With poverty at its peak and due to Qurbani’s taking place abroad, all your shares have gone towards the needy and poor instead of applying the three portion ruling: a portion is saved for the person who has made the Qurbani donation, a portion is given to the donor’s friends/family, and the final portion is given to the hungry and less fortunate. We have understood the importance of quality sourcing from hard-working farmers and we worked closely with our partners to ensure Qurbani animals are raised healthily and according to Qurbani rules. Our teams on the ground ensured every needy family enjoyed a nutritious meal for Eid. We are glad to announce that all Qurbani’s were completed within the first two days of Eid, meaning your meat was delivered fresh.

A Special Qurbani in Al-Quds (Palestine)

This year we performed Qurbani over the special place of Al-Quds, honouring the sacred traditions and deep spiritual significance of this holy site. This act of sacrifice, rooted in our faith and devotion, allowed us to connect profoundly with the history and religious heritage of Al-Quds, while expressing our gratitude and reverence for its enduring sanctity.
