Our Events

We were overwhelmed by the support from our local community getting together with the aim of supporting Gaza! We first and foremost thank Sheffield Grand Mosque for this collaboration and allowing us a platform to raise money for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Secondly, our sisters team for their relentless efforts in organising this successful event. We also thank local businesses for their kind donations, including Musaids Soft Drinks, Cater Choice, Emera Cash & Carry, Big Filla, Arabian Kitchen, Ibra’s, Taste of Arabia, Golden Foods, Al-Batati Supermarket, Al Zahir, Ellesmere Food and News, Felix Wholesale, High Hazel Market, Hinde Street Mini Market. Finally, nothing would have been possible without the participation and kind donations from our local community.

We would like to thank everyone who donated to yesterdays event, and a special thank you to the amazing employees at Dukes Pizza for all of their contributions. The 100% of sales event has raised £3,545.35 for the people of Gaza, and will go towards providing lifesaving food, water, medical aid and warmth. One donor said “the queues were so long but the food was delicious – well worth it”. Missed it? No problem. We still have so many Gaza fundraisers to come.

Three daring thrill seekers jumped out of a perfectly working plane in the UK’s highest skydive of 15,000ft for the victims of the Morocco earthquake. These brave souls plummeted on a 120mph freefall followed by a 5-8 minute parachute glide down to earth. We are grateful for their support in raising £1,745 for this noble cause. The money will be contributed towards providing winter warmth for these victims. We salute you Shabir, Josh and Nick! If you fancy a skydive yourself then please complete the form above.

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our sponsors Maya Suite, Sheffield Supreme Valeting, Mansouri Cure, TTRefinements, 786 Marketing, Peakstones, and Greenland Cars alongside all of our tireless volunteers and donors who attended and participated. The final total raised from the event, including the car wash, hijama therapy and merchandise sales has hit £8,100! The money raised will go a long way in helping those affected in Gaza. We once again thank everyone who supported us in the event.

Another homeless feed has been completed, this time in collaboration with USIC and Sheffield Grand Mosque. A team of students got together and cooked over 100 meals for those who needed it most, and this food was distributed both around Sheffield and to a homeless shelter. We focus so much sometimes on helping those abroad, we forget that charity starts at our own doorstep. We thank all the volunteers from USIC and Sheffield Grand Mosque for their amazing support, and Sheffield Grand Mosque for allowing us to use their kitchen for the cooking.

Organised by the dynamic duo of Favela Football and As-Salaam Humanitarian Foundation. Our delightful bakes were a hit and sold out in no time, thanks to Keelas Bakes. Over 12 exclusive shirts flew off the shelves, all credit to Direct Kits4U. Special awards, brought to you by SA Prestige Foiling, added shine to our event. To every participant, supporter, volunteer, and well-wisher, your dedication, enthusiasm, and spirit have not only made this event a success but have also brought hope and relief to the victims of the Morocco earthquake.

We are proud to announce that we raised a fulfilling amount of £10,708.40 from our Masjid collections this Ramadan, for the iconic #1For1 Appeal where we fed fasting people for just £1 in Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan and Tanzania. Alongside this, we also raised for the same appeal outside of the Masjids. See our past appeals where we highlight exactly how many people you helped us feed this Ramadan.
