Why Sponsor an Orphan or a Student of Hifz?
The world can be a terrifying place with broken systems, global pandemics, conflicts and natural disasters. Now imagine what that would be like through the eyes of an orphaned or vulnerable child. Child sponsorship is a type of fundraising in which we associate a donor sponsor with a particular child beneficiary. The sponsor will receive updates from the child, typically including photos and translated letters, which help create the feeling of a personal relationship with the child.
Every single little human is special and unique, and it is their human right to grow up in a safe, nurturing environment. Your sponsorship will include:
School fees – The programme relieves families from the burden of paying for schooling so that children can go on to enjoy learning, making friends and being themselves.
Textbooks and stationery – A backpack is provided containing a notebook, pens, pencils, colouring pens, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, a geometry set, and textbooks.
School uniforms – The child is given a full uniform, including a jumper, two shirts, a pair of trousers and two pairs of sturdy shoes for the school year.
Living costs – The child’s guardian is given a monthly allowance to help with the cost of shelter, food, clean water and any other living costs.
*Islamic education – sponsorship includes course fees, daily meals, healthcare and accommodation for a Hifz student enrolled in a 3-year program. Your sponsorship will be renewed each year.

Learning the teachings of the Qur’an is a vital component of the Islamic faith. But despite this, thousands of vulnerable children and orphans across the world are deprived of their right to an education. In addition, many of these children must begin to earn a living and contribute to their families when they are still very young.
We are committed to empowering children from underprivileged families and offering them a Quranic education through our Hifz Sponsorship Programme. This provides them with the opportunity to read and understand the Holy Qur’an, as well as providing a rudimentary secular education. Our Hifz sponsorship programme provides children with food, shelter and healthcare thanks to the generous contributions of our donors. A typical Hifz student will take 3 years to complete their programme.
